About the Opportunity:

This role exists to support TruHearing’s legal team by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating routine contracts and amendments; managing contracts; performing legal research; and handling other administrative tasks.

What will you be doing?

  • Contract Drafting and Review:
    • Under the direction of company attorneys, draft, review, negotiate, and revise various routine contracts and contract amendments (e.g., nondisclosure agreements, periodic updates to existing contracts), ensuring compliance with company requirements and standards.
    • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders (e.g., company attorneys and business development team) and external parties to facilitate contract negotiations.
  • Contract Management:
    • Assist with contract management projects, including updating contract templates and drafting and distributing internal contract summaries, and assume primary responsibility for company’s online contract management system.
  • Legal Research and Analysis:
    • Under the direction of company attorneys, conduct online legal research to support the company’s contracting and operational initiatives.
    • Research, analyze and apply applicable laws and regulations.
    • Manage company licensing renewals and reports across all jurisdictions.
    • Manage routine legal department administrative tasks (e.g., respond to requests regarding company’s contractual obligations, request certificates of insurance, outside counsel legal bills, etc.)
    • Assist with review of marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.

What education or experience is required?

Required:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal with contract management and drafting responsibilities.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a formal education.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with contracts in the Health Care Industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal with contract management and drafting responsibilities
